adminton has a rich history at NSCI and the club houses five courts in two locations with top notch facilities.

The club has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments including the Premier Badminton League and Tata Open. NSCI also conducts and participates in several Members only and Inter-Club tournaments respectively and the courts have been privy to the likes of Indian superstar shuttlers Saina Nehwal and P.V. Sindhu’s training sessions.

The main badminton room has three courts – two wooden-surfaced courts and one synthetic court. The spacious room is fully air-conditioned with high ceilings and space all around. Players get to feel and experience the game without any constraints.

The other two courts in the Old Wing are also wooden-surfaced courts.

Patrons are expected to wear gum-sole shoes appropriate to the courts they are playing on or rent shoes from the club accordingly which would be chargeable. Members are also expected to bring their own equipment – rackets and shuttles (can also be purchased).

There are also fantastic coaching classes on offer, conducted on Saturdays and Sundays between 12:00pm and 5:30pm.

The Badminton Courts are supervised by Convenor Mr. Romit Nagpal and Sub-Committee members.
